“Since launching ChatGPT, people have been asking for ways to customize ChatGPT to fit specific ways that they use it,” OpenAI said in a statement shared with The Verge. “We launched Custom Instructions in July that let you set some preferences, but requests for more control kept coming. Many power users maintain a list of carefully crafted prompts and instruction sets, manually copying them into ChatGPT. GPTs now do all of that for you.”

⚒️ Tool Highlight

Notion is like my second brain. I use it to run my life, both personally and for my agency, Posture Media.

It is a workspace that has built-in customization opportunities so you can design system(s) that work just for you.

Some things I use Notion for include:

  • Project management

  • Task management

  • Client portal

  • Brain dumps and notes

  • Journaling

  • Articles and creative briefs (you can publish Notion pages to the web and share as links that don’t require any log-ins)

I’ve tried other tools like Asana and Trello, but they honestly don’t come anywhere near the capabilities of Notion.

🤳 Creator of the Week

LA-based Oren John self identifies as “the internet’s creative director.” I think that he brings a unique POV on all things design, fashion, and direct-to-consumer marketing.

Oren recently built and was the President of public CPG company, Unrivaled Brands. Prior to that, he worked as a product development and marketing executive specializing in regulated and luxury products, including helping to establish the consumer drone product channel in big box retail across the world.

🎨 Creative Corner

In case you missed it last month, here is a fun campaign that is worth a study.

Lupin, a French TV drama featuring the escapades of Assane Diop (played by Omar Sy) as a mastermind thief, ran an incredibly smart Netflix marketing campaign ahead of the release of ‘Lupin, Part 3’’.

In this campaign, major brands such as Rolex, Cartier, and Chanel appeared to have been ‘robbed’ by Lupin.

In a creative marketing feat, Netflix (with agency Jellyfish France) turned heads by playfully appropriating iconic luxury brand adverts.

Ingenious tweaks in these ads — like tan marks hinting at stolen jewelry or vacant cases — hinted at the thief’s handiwork.

And there you have it. Congrats if you made it to the end. 🦇 Have a fabulous week ahead.
